Become a Volunteer

What We Look For

Breakaway Youth relies on dedicated volunteers who listen, learn, and lead with empathy. We value individuals who are committed to creating safe and welcoming spaces for young people, serving with integrity, and demonstrating Christian values in both word and action.

To help ensure a safe environment for everyone, all volunteers are required to hold a current Working With Children Check, Police Check, and complete Child Safe training.

Growth for Our Volunteers

Volunteering with Breakaway Youth is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

By creating safe spaces, building positive relationships, and supporting young people to grow and thrive, volunteers play an important role in strengthening our community. Along the way, volunteers gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and receive ongoing training and support.
